Hello, I am Peter Gassner, self-love mentor, meditation and mindfulness teacher, author and founder of the Happy-ME Academy.
I'm from Austria. I used to be a chef and restaurant owner. That means I worked 7 days a week, sometimes up to 18 hours a day. And this for many years. So I was on the verge of burnout. During this time, I had sleepless nights and was plagued by heart palpitations. I was often not myself. I felt like I was being remote controlled. Work, sleep, work, sleep. I had unlearned and forgotten what it meant to live. Spending time with friends. Everything that makes life worth living.
But at some point I realized that I couldn't and didn't want to go on like that.
So the idea was born to take a break for a few months. Where better to do that than in the land of smiles - Thailand. A few months turned into something more. During this time I thought a lot about what it means to be HAPPY. During the first months in Thailand I was very lucky to meet a monk who also spoke German. We spent a lot of time together and had many conversations. He showed me the magic (for me it was like magic) of meditation. What it did for me was incredible. Since then I meditate every day. I felt the need to focus more on myself. So I trained as a mental trainer, self-love mentor, and mindfulness teacher.
After a few years in which I was able to show many loving people how they too can achieve a happier and more satisfied life, I have now founded the "Happy-ME-Academy".
